Everything! Location is perfect - right on the seafront and 5 minute walk into town and the harbour where all the restaurants/pubs/bars are. Rooms - clean, comfortable and homely with all the amenities you need. Service - Can’t speak highly enough about the level of service and attention to detail of every single person we encountered, all the way from the girls serving breakfast to Jonathan and Karen who are so friendly and welcoming, ready to be on hand to help with anything you need with a smile on their face. Breakfast - the other reviews weren’t lying. It’s delicious. Cold food buffet and hot food made to order by Karen, great ingredients and very homely breakfast room. 100% recommend and will be coming back.

Fabulous stay, would highly recommend. The hosts, Jonathan and Karen, have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. It is better than some 5 star hotels, we now understand why the reviews are all excellent. Delicious breakfast (so much selection!) and incredibly welcoming. One of our family members was given an upgrade too which was incredibly kind. Beautiful hotel and everything immaculate. Amazing location. We will be back! Please don’t hesitate to book, it really is 10/10!

We were really pleased with our stay at Gloucester House as it is a very nice hotel, modern and with all the facilities needed. It is ideally situated for visiting the many sights in Weymouth as it is on the esplanade and short walking distance from the landmark train, on/off on buses and train. The staff are very good, especially Jonathan the owner who was very friendly and helpful.

Everything. We were given a very warm welcome. Then a map of where to go in Weymouth. We then got taken to our room and the room was immaculate. Beds were comfortable and the sea view was great. Also had a set of Binoculars if you want to check out the views from outside. Breakfast was so good. All staff were brilliant and would definitely stay here again if we go to Weymouth again. The lounge was beautiful too. You can drop your luggages there and have a nice walk all over Weymouth beach.

Jonathan and Karen are amazing hosts. Right from the welcome through to advising us on local sightseeing, breakfasts, room debrief, it was all warm. The property and rooms are very clean and all done to a great modern standard. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very kind! We had no complaints whatsoever. Our room had the most amazing sea facing view. The location is a convenient 3 min walk from station and a stone’s throw from the beach, right on the esplanade and close to nearby restaurants and local market.

The location was fabulous for our purposes and right on the seafront; the hosts were lovely and incredibly welcoming. The whole place was really well decorated and appointed. The room was lovely and we had paid extra for a sea view and we got exactly that. The breakfast was fabulous.

Great location and wonderful sea view from our room. The room was well decorated, clean and had everything we needed. Fabulous tea/coffee including decaffeinated coffee available in the room. Fresh milk available and lovely biscuits. Clean and fluffy towels, hairdryer and toiletries. Breakfast was fabulous, great cold choice of fruit, pastries, yoghurt, cereal and the cooked Dorset Breakfast was perfect! When returning to Weymouth we will certainly stay at Gloucester House again. Great hosts, thank you for a perfect stay.

The location is excellent, on the seafront and a few minutes walk from the Rail Station. The Hotel is class.. From the friendly welcome by the owners to the ambience of the Hotel. The rooms are superb, high quality decor, lovely extras with the hot drinks selection, fresh drinking water daily. Then comes the breakfast selection and the genuine customer service from the girls waiting on you. This is an excellent B & B Hotel don't miss out.

Friendly and helpful owners and staff, my room was spotlessly clean on arrival and had all the required facilities. The breakfast was wonderful and worthy of the accolades awarded. The central location is great for those wishing to enjoy the facilities that Weymouth has to offer.

This is a fabulous hotel. Great location, very close to the clock if you know Weymouth. Beautiful decor and a very comfy room. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. The icing on the cake though is the personal welcome you get from the owners Jonathan and Karen. They actually take an interest in your stay and your holiday. It reminded me of holidays in Weymouth when I was a kid and stayed in the same guesthouse every year and the owners then welcomed us in the same way. Could not recommend this place highly enough.
