Gloucester House

Arrival was prompt and very informative. Jonathan and Karen greeted us with smiles and everything we needed to know. We were given clear communication about the stay and the local area. Gloucester house is very clean , well laid out and spacious. It has a great feel to it . The room was perfect for us and they had even laid out balloons , banner and a bottle of processco as it was a birthday celebration. We all slept very well for a front facing beach stay it was quiet and warm. The bathroom touches (soap shower gel and shampoo was a very handy touch as was the fresh water biscuits tea an coffee ) , a fridge in the downstairs lounge is also available 24 hours a day with fresh milk. Breakfast was 10/ 10 ample choice and fresh produce. The help yourself bar had everything from pastries to fresh fruit and overnight oats. The juices were fresh and tasty. Coffee or tea offered as soon as we sat down. All in all round uo of the stay ... welcoming, knowledgeable and kind hosts , fantastic breakfast, clean accommodation and picturesque location. Would i return ?? ABSOLUTELY :)

We had a fantastic stay at Gloucester House on Weymouth Esplanade. The location couldn’t have been more ideal — right on the seafront with great views of the beach and just a short walk to everything. There’s a car park just a couple of minutes away behind the guest house, which was really convenient and a good price. Jonathan & Karen were absolutely lovely — so friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The guest house itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with a warm and comfortable atmosphere throughout. Breakfast was fantastic — there was a great choice to suit everyone, and everything was cooked to perfection. The girls serving were all so nice, helpful, and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Gloucester House to anyone visiting Weymouth!

The owners Jonathan and Karen greeted us on arrival , and from that moment on and throughout our stay were extremely welcoming and friendly . They even went as far as to congratulate us on the morning of our wedding anniversary when we came downstairs for breakfast and led us to a specially decorated table and brought us complementary champagne glasses with sparkling wine and orange juice . A very kind and considerate gesture which we very much appreciated .

We loved Everything ! The location was perfect, Johnathan was delightful, our room was excellent with so many little extras, this was topped off with an outstanding breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and we are looking forward to a return visit, we were in Weymouth to attend a concert at the Pavilion which we can't wait to repeat, thank you for such a lovely stay. Husband and wife were very kind and warm and always helpful if you needed anything. They made you feel very welcomed and as if they were going the extra mile just for you. The place was done up nicely and the breakfast was delicious. Ideal location right by the sea and easy to access anywhere in Weymouth town. Would highly recommend this B&B.
